Utilizing 911 cases which pinpoint various types of liability, this course analyzes liability issues, examines common elements of liability, develops measures for reducing and/or preventing liability, and considers “best practices” for telecommunicators and supervisors. Additional discussions cover why people sue, the typical process of a lawsuit, and demonstration of courtroom testimony procedures and pitfalls.
